Hi, I'm J!
After many years of making bagels for friends and hearing them say, "I'd pay for these bagels!" I'm finally doing it! My bagels and other baked goods are currently available at farmers' markets, pop-ups, and by special order.Several years ago I decided to cook a new recipe each week from Rose Levy Barenbaum's The Bread Bible. A few of those recipes, including the bagels, become my standbys. When my good friends at Goodies Bake Shop offered me a guest spot at their St. Croix Falls Farmers' Market booth, I was inspired to make The J-agelry a reality.All baked goods are produced in my South Minneapolis home kitchen under Minnesota's Cottage Food Law (Cottage Food Registration #20223572). My products are homemade and not subject to state inspection.
